Once Again, Senate Republicans Support Unaffordable Health Care For More Than 500,000 Georgians
Atlanta, Ga. — Today, Senate Republicans killed affordable health care for more than 500,000 Georgians.
“Georgians should pay close attention because the GOP showed today that their so-called concerns about affordability is nothing but a fairy tale. They’re so committed to making health care unaffordable for Georgians that they rejected the federal government picking up 90% of the program’s costs. A child born the day ACA passed would be sixteen years old and getting ready to graduate high school,” said Minority Leader Harold Jones II. “How many Georgians have suffered in those sixteen years because Senate Republicans don’t like Barack
